As I develop a passion for music, drama, cinema, and everything in between, PAC allows me to create a platform and stage that showcases a diverse range of arts and the intersectionality thereof. Through PAC, I gained a more holistic view of events and their elements, while managing a team of creatives who can deliver mass-budgeted productions under tight deadlines. Moreover, I became a more effective communicator, bridging the gap between artists and the industry, and developing partnership strategies with businesses and external organizations

creSCendo Music Club
I have always been a fan of rock. I taught myself how to play guitar, bass, and drums, yet I crave a stage to share and express my passion for music. creSCendo Music Club creates a platform for international music lovers to communicate, collaborate, and perform with professional sound, stage, and lighting.

It all started with a passion. A passion for being immersed in guitar chords and drum beats, sharing the moment on stage with peers, and recreating the music we love with a live band. creSCendo allows me to not only create a stage for my own passion, but also for 80 other music lovers with distinct tastes and incredible talents. In addition to understanding the ins and outs of concert production and promotion, I got a grip on building a team that works with joy, having fun while delivering unforgettable results.

Pioneer Academics
Pioneer Academics is
Pioneer Cohort Advisor: 2024-Present
Alumni Panel Facilitator: 2022-Present
Undertaking a rigorous research program is undeniably challenging, yet the wisdom and guidance from scholars of the past can provide much-needed relief. Inspired by this idea, I contributed to a series of online workshops and panels that bridge the gap between hundreds of Pioneer alumni and current scholars. Planning these workshops refined my organizational adeptness and spreadsheet mastery, while facilitating live virtual events made me a more adaptive communicator, steering discussions and resolving unforeseen issues and crises.
↸Communication pathways that I develop and employ to engage scholars
The pioneer virtual alumni events are crafted to emphasize scholar engagement. From ice-breaker activities to tailored self-introductions and thoughtful Q&As, I ensure each scholar gets an informational yet personalized experience from the events. In addition, I keep command of where the discussion flows as the facilitator, navigating the scholars and alumni to share the most relevant advice while adding a more intimate touch with personal stories.

Small breakout rooms with multiple alumni for maximum interaction
Individualized ice-breaker activities and introduction
Q&A questions tailored for scholar success
Active facilitation to engage scholars and share personal experiences
Contact-sharing and follow-up for networking and building connections
Engagement First
Being in a small breakout room with other scholars is intimidating. Therefore, it is my job to manage the conversations and silence in a virtual space and make the best use of the limited time. Through being a facilitator, I have become a more intentional and convincing speaker. I emphasize sharing over asking, which allows me to connect with each scholar and their experiences on a personal level.
